The original owner, Mark Robba, thought it was time to purchase his own superyacht after living in Indonesia for more than 20 years and always loving life at sea. Robba spent the following seven years working with local builders to design the ideal luxury yacht appropriate for the equatorial climates and adventures that awaited them because obtaining the correct tool for the task proved to be challenging. Dunia Baru was sold in 2020, and her new equally passionate owners, who are eager to continue sharing the magnificent adventures that lie in Indonesia, undertook a 10-month renovation.

As a consequence, a magnificent sailing boat was created, including an exterior that is reminiscent of bygone ages and an interior that is ultra-luxurious and constructed to the finest superyacht standards. Therefore, if you're thinking about doing something unusual for your holiday this year, why not go the extra mile and go on a genuine Indonesian sailing adventure? Dunia Baru is the obvious choice for your next yacht charter thanks to its customized itineraries, ample outside deck space, and convenience of exploring the pristine seas of the Indonesian Archipelago and larger Asian region.

“This is a fantastic charter yacht for exploring Indonesia! I had the pleasure of enjoying a two-week holiday with the original owner, Mark, his family and a total group of 10 (including a four-year-old). Our cruise director knew the best places to go (without any crowds), and we were able to get PADI certified by a dive instructor on board and took advantage of the top diving available here. I’d go back in a heartbeat and cannot recommend Dunia Baru or her team enough!” Rebekah Taylor

Shape and function

Dunia Baru can carry up to 14 passengers in seven opulent staterooms and is staffed by 18 skilled and jovial crew members while yet adhering to high standards of elegance and tradition. There are plenty of toys on board, and the yacht is unique in that it has a full-time dive instructor who can completely certify visitors for PADI certification and take them to the greatest diving locations in the area.
