Travel hacking and points: Return of the Hat trick
Back in May of 2020, I wrote about an event that I was very proud of. I performed the rare occurrence of scoring a travel hacking hat trick. I got awarded points 3 times, from 3 different points programs for one transaction. (Hat Trick: In field hockey and ice hockey, a hat trick occurs when a player scores three goals in a single game.)
Croatia Digital Brochure
Where Ancient Ruins Meet Modern Living With crystal clear waters and white sand beaches, Croatia is a budding new mecca for yacht vacations. If you're looking for culture and history without the crowds of the Western Mediterranean, then come and sail the Adriatic Sea. Here, you'll find islands to play on, cities to explore, and ancient Roman palaces.
Travel Hacking Hat Trick: More points
Yesterday I did something I have not been able to do in the past.  I've had transactions where I have scored double the reward points on a single purchase.  But, this time, I scored a travel hacker's dream transaction:  a travel hack hat trick.  I got awarded points 3 times for one transaction.  (Hat Trick:  In field hockey and ice hockey, a hat trick occurs when a player scores three goals in a single game.)
Private Jet Sharing: Upgrading your travel experience
If you're like most people, then a private jet is out of the budget. Private jets frequently cost between $4,000 and $20,000, just for an hour-long flight. However, many people are looking for a less populated flying experience than typical airline flights due to Covid exposure and flying inconveniences. If you're looking for a cheaper way to fly while reducing your Covid exposure, private jet sharing might be for you.
You can still have cheap flights in the age of the Coronavirus
Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of articles saying that the price of flights is going to go up during and after this time of the Covid-19 pandemic. It makes sense if you know anything about how business works (and believe me, I am not the most business-minded person but I get it). The demand is down. Way down. So, there are fewer people on the planes and the airlines are running fewer flights. Scarcity creates high demand. This drives up the price. There is good news: you can still pay for cheap flights in the age of the coronavirus.
