The Mid-Atlantic's premier four-season resort destination or as I like to call it our second home
I'm currently writing this at Massanutten. I'm using this opportunity to have a change of scenery in my life and to practice my digital nomad skills. I work remotely from my home office and have worked from different countries over the years on working vacations.
Massanutten is the only travel destination we have returned to multiple times. There are only a handful of countries my family and I have traveled to twice. We've gone to Massanutten, sometimes twice in a year, and we've traveled here during the summer, winter, spring and fall.

We really enjoy Massanutten and the area it is located, but another big reason we go here is that it is only a two and half hour drive from our home. When we need a break from our lives as they are, a change of scenery is good for the spirit and Massanutten provides this for us. Over the period of five years, my family has used Massanutten as our preferred place to celebrate Thanksgiving.
When they say Massanutten is a four-season resort, they mean it. We've been here for holidays in the summer and winter. We've been here to go snow tubing and skiing in the winter. In the summer we've gone to the indoor and outdoor pools. The waterpark is open year-round because they have pools and slides indoors and outdoors and we've experienced them in both the summer and winter.
Massanutten is conveniently located in a valley surrounded by mountains. In the native Algonquin language, Massanutten means Cradle. This setup allows you the opportunity to either stay in the valley or up in the mountains and we have done both. It's hard to say which I prefer since I enjoy both immensely.
